	SADC Business Climate 2010/11 A German Business Perspective

Text	In the first quarter of 2011, the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft (German-African Business Association) conducted its sixth annual SADC Business Climate Survey among German companies doing business in the countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The Survey assessed companies’ views on their past and current activities in the region, as well as their business prospects. An assessment of the major challenges facing German companies in the region is also presented with the goal of promoting a dialogue on how these challenges can be addressed. 65 German companies participated in this year’s Survey.
